Directions and Parking

Please note that the Club provides parking to overnight visitors only. Reception guests may park in the Central Grounds Parking Garage on Emmet Street.

•	If you will be arriving after 9:00 p.m., please pick up your keys at the UVa Welcome Center/Police Station on Ivy Road/US 250.
•	Parking Permits are required. If you bring a vehicle, you must obtain a parking pass when picking up room keys. If you will be arriving after hours and have requested a parking pass, it will be included in your key packet.
•	If no spaces are available in the Club lot, you may park along McCormick Road in any space marked "Guest Permit #1."

From Washington, DC area:

•	Take I-66 West to Exit 43A (Route 29 South to Gainesville/Warrenton).
•	Route 29 South runs directly into Charlottesville. Once in town, stay on Route 29 Business (do not take the bypass).
Note: within Charlottesville, Route 29 is also called Seminole Trail and Emmet Street.

To the UVa Welcome Center/Police Station (for after-hours key pickup):
•	After the intersection of Route 29 and Barracks Road, get in the right-hand lane.
•	Drive approximately 1.5 miles to the traffic light where Route 29/Emmet St. intersects with University Avenue/ Ivy Road. Turn right onto Ivy Road.
•	The Welcome Center is approximately 2 miles on the left (through three traffic lights).
•	To get to the Club from the Welcome Center, turn right out of the parking lot, back onto Ivy Road.
•	At the fourth traffic light (where Ivy Road intersects with Emmet Street), go straight.
•	Take the second right onto McCormick Road.
•	The fourth driveway on the left ends in the Colonnade Club parking lot. Pavilion VII will be the building to your left.

To drive directly to the Colonnade Club (for key pick-up weekdays before 5:00 p.m.):
•	After the intersection at Route 29 and Barracks Road, get in the left-hand lane.
•	Drive approximately 1.5 miles to the traffic light where Route 29/Emmet Street intersects University Avenue/Ivy Road.
•	Turn left (left-turn only lane).
•	Take the second right onto McCormick Road.
•	The fourth driveway on the left ends in the Colonnade Club parking lot. Pavilion VII will be the building to your left.

From Richmond:

•	Take I-64 West to Exit 118B (Route 29 North to Charlottesville).
•	Take the second exit, marked Ivy Road/Route 250 West. (Do not take the exit marked Route 29 Business.)
•	At the intersection, turn right. You are now on Ivy Road; the UVa Welcome Center/Police Station is on your right after the bridge.
•	To get to the Club from the Welcome Center, turn right out of the parking lot, back onto Ivy Road.
•	At the fourth traffic light (where Ivy Road intersects with Emmet Street), go straight.
•	Take the second right onto McCormick Road.
•	The fourth driveway on the left ends in the Colonnade Club parking lot. Pavilion VII will be the building to your left.

•	Follow signs to Route 29 South and turn right at the traffic light.
