Annual Meeting
Held in Hotel E, the Colonnade Club’s annual
business meeting is a chance for members to hear reports
from the President and Treasurer on the present state of
the Club. Board Member elections are also held. All members
are encouraged to attend, as this is an opportunity to
provide feedback that will directly influence the Club’s
future. A magazine auction, allowing you to gain a year’s
worth of your favorite periodicals at bargain prices, follows
the meeting. A casual dinner will be served along with
beer and wine.
Wine Tasting
The Colonnade Club wine tasting provides members with the chance to sample
a variety of wines, each paired with a complimentary hors d’oeuvre.
Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy two full glasses of their
favorite wine
during the second half of the evening.
Foxfield Tailgate
The Colonnade Club offers members admission tickets and parking passes for the
spring races. Club members can enjoy a private tent on the South Hill, as
well as the best food and drink at Foxfield. Enjoy the races in style!
Closings Cocktail Party
One of our biggest events of the year, the Closings Cocktail Party
is a chance for members to celebrate the end of the academic year with drinks
and a delicious array of hors d’oeuvres.
Family Picnic
Bring the whole family for some relaxation, BBQ, games,
and bluegrass music. Counselors from the Cavalier Day
Camp are on hand to provide games and entertainment
for
the kids.
This event is held rain or
shine.
